Project entails a weed abatement program along the Truckee River and tributaries based upon a regional Weed Management 2008 Action Plan. Besides weed removal and abatement, the project will provide bank stabilization and erosion control by protecting native habitat and restoring riparian areas.

TMWA Benefit
This project provides water quality and watershed benefit to the Truckee River system, thereby improving raw water quality to both the Chalk Bluff and Glendale Water Treatment Plants.
