This project entails the installation of Low Impact Development (LID) water treatment structures to prevent storm water pollution from entering the Crane Ditch. The Crane Ditch eventually flows to Steamboat Creek and these measures will assist in an overall program to improve Steamboat Creek and Truckee River water quality.

 

TMWA Benefit
After construction and monitoring of performance of this project, TMWA serves to benefit by future application of these measures on storm drain outfalls upstream of the Glendale Treatment Plant.
